Career Reading Guide: A Collaboration Between Korean Language and Career Teachers

A career reading guidebook created by Korean language teachers and career counselors! This customized reading program guides students to explore career paths through reading based on Holland's theory of vocational interests. The book categorizes interests into six types—Realistic, Investigative, Artistic, Social, Enterprising, and Conventional—and helps students discover career options that match their interests through carefully selected readings. Beyond simply introducing career-related books, this guide enables students to actively read and contemplate their future paths according to their vocational interest types. The book presents three careers most closely related to each interest type and includes excerpts from 18 carefully selected books with learning activities designed by Korean language teachers specializing in reading instruction. Additionally, career counseling teachers provide guidance on various professions and answer students' questions about career development.
