10 years after The Monster Called School, where is our education heading? The education critique book The Monster Called School, which contained sharp criticism and reflection on Korean education, returns after 10 years in a revised edition. The first edition resonated with many working teachers when published in 2014 and became a catalyst for the new educational organization Practical Education Teacher Association. In this revised and expanded edition, author Kwon Jae-won preserves the original critical consciousness and historicity while adding current evaluations and explanations throughout.
